You could feel where it was going within seconds.

Tapper tried to box her into a headline, framing Donald Trump’s comments about the Iranian regime as some kind of call for genocide.

Stefanik defended the president and completely dismantled Tapper’s “genocide” narrative.

Tapper pressed hard, trying to frame the remarks in the most extreme terms possible.

TAPPER: “Is calling for wiping out an entire civilization bad or good?”

Stefanik immediately rejected the premise outright.

STEFANIK: “Of course it’s bad! That is not what he is calling for. He wasn’t calling for genocide.”

Tapper doubled down, trying to pin her to the wording itself.

TAPPER: “You’re entire civilization will die?”

But Stefanik reframed it, arguing the comments were directed at a regime — not an entire group of people.

STEFANIK: “It was targeted toward the Iranian terrorist regime!”

“If you want to compare the president of the United States to the university presidents who failed to call for the condemnation of calling for the genocide of Jews, that’s on you, Jake.”

Tapper tried to steer it back to consistency in standards.

TAPPER: “I’m just asking you if you have the same standard for somebody…?”

But Stefanik closed the loop, making her position clear while pivoting back to policy outcomes of Trump’s harsh words for the regime.

STEFANIK: “Of course, genocide is bad across the board, Jake.”

“President Trump effectively brought the Iranians to the table.”

“He effectively delivered a ceasefire.”

“And he is going to effectively deliver peace to the Middle East to stop, frankly, the killing [from] the Iranian terrorist regime, which kills their own people and has created havoc across the Middle East.”

Tapper was trying to guide the conversation into a very specific framing, a CNN narrative that would lock Trump’s comments into the harshest possible interpretation, thus, “a genocide.”

It had that familiar feel of a line of questioning where the destination is basically set before the answer is even given.

However, this time, Stefanik didn’t take it where he wanted it to go.

She caught the framing immediately, pushed back on the premise itself, and refused to let the exchange stay boxed into CNN’s narrative.

Instead of reacting inside it, she stepped outside of it — and started talking about what she said the words actually meant, not what they were being turned into.

And once that happened, the segment stopped going in Tapper’s direction entirely.

Last night on Fox, Stephen Miller sat down with Brian Kilmeade and laid out what the administration says is the next phase of its immigration agenda and fraud crackdown.

If you’ve followed Trump’s immigration agenda over the years, you know Miller has been one of the central figures behind it.

MILLER: “He’s going to be sitting down with ICE, with the professionals at CBP and developing a plan to carry out…the largest mass deportation in history as seamlessly, professionally, effectively, quickly as it can possibly be done.”

That was probably the clearest takeaway from the interview: the administration wants the next phase to look deliberate, disciplined, and large in scale.

From there, Kilmeade moved to an issue that defined Trump’s first term — the southern border wall.

While the wall dominated the 2016 campaign and much of the first administration, there has been far less public discussion about construction during the second term, so Kilmeade asked directly where things stand.

KILMEADE: “What will it take to get that wall built?”

Stephen Miller dropped some wild new numbers on border wall construction.

He said CBP is now accelerating building at a pace not seen before under President Trump’s leadership.

That’s when Miller dropped some eye-opening numbers.

MILLER: “So we got some very exciting news for you there, Brian.”

“Right now DHS is at 5 miles a week under President Trump’s leadership on the border wall.”

Miller said this is what they’re calling “phase two,” building on the 500 miles completed during Trump’s first term.

More notably, he said construction is accelerating even faster. It was a bombshell.

MILLER: “And I just learned today that CBP says they will soon be at the milestone of 1 mile PER DAY in new border wall.”

He also added that the buildout now includes a water barrier along the Rio Grande designed to cut off river-based smuggling routes.

That’s a detail a lot of people probably were not aware of.

It’s already being called an Easter miracle, and when the full story is finally told, it may go down as one of the most extraordinary rescue operations in modern U.S. military history.

For a lot of people, the first comparison that came to mind was Behind Enemy Lines — the 2001 military thriller where Owen Wilson’s character ejects over Bosnia and survives behind hostile territory long enough to be pulled out by American forces.

Over the past few days, that kind of scenario stopped being Hollywood fiction.

This time, it was real.

On Friday, two airmen aboard a downed F-15E Strike Eagle were forced to eject over southwestern Iran.

The pilot was rescued later on Friday, but the other crew member — the weapons systems officer — was left isolated deep in hostile terrain.

What followed was a tense, high-risk effort that stretched across nearly two full days.

According to early reporting, the airman used his SERE [Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape] training to move away from the wreckage, climb into mountainous terrain, and stay concealed while Iranian forces and even local civilians searched for him.

With little more than a sidearm and his training, he remained hidden while waiting for a window to signal for extraction.

By early Sunday morning, after nearly 24 hours of rumors and mounting speculation, the breakthrough finally came.

The news hit like a lightning bolt. It was the headline that millions across the nation had been waiting to hear. An answer to many of their prayers.

U.S. forces had found the crew member and mounted a daring rescue operation to extract him to safety.

Fox’s Jennifer Griffin was among the first to lay out what had happened.

GRIFFIN: “We can confirm with two senior U.S. officials that the second crew member of the downed F-15E fighter jet has been rescued.”

She explained that the operation had been underway almost from the moment the aircraft went down.

“It’s been harrowing at times, I’m told.”

“What’s really extraordinary is that the second crew member, the weapons systems officer, who we’ve been talking about, managed to hike up to a ridge line and hide, and then to admit that emergency beacon that allowed the U.S. military and the rescue team to know where he was.”

“We don’t know the condition of the airman at this point, I can tell you that the injuries are likely to be serious.”

“This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow Warfighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day, and diligently planning for his rescue.”

At his direction, multiple aircraft were sent in for the extraction.

“At my direction, the U.S. Military sent dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the World, to retrieve him.”

“He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine.”

He also revealed that both airmen had now been rescued in separate operations.

“This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation.”

This was a truly historic feat.

“This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory.”

“WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND!”

“The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies.”

“This is a moment that ALL Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else, should be proud of and united around.”

“We truly have the best, most professional, and lethal Military in the History of the World. GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, AND HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!”

This will go down as one of the president’s biggest wins.

After the dust settled, more of the behind-the-scenes details began to surface, and they only added to the scale of what had taken place.

According to his reporting, the CIA played a major role in shaping the battlefield before the extraction.

“The CIA was using deception tactics on the ground to make the Iranians think they’d already located the pilot!”

“Remember, this second crew member was inside of enemy territory for almost 48 hours.”

That deception effort appears to have bought critical time.

Iranian forces, meanwhile, were reportedly combing the area and even offering cash rewards to civilians who could locate and hand over the missing airman.

“And the Iranians were not only looking for this crew member on the ground, but they were also offering a reward of thousands of dollars to any Iranian civilian who could capture him and then take him into IRGC hands.”

“The United States knew this was taking place.”

As enemy forces moved closer, U.S. strikes were reportedly used to keep them from reaching the officer’s position.

“As the Iranian forces approached this crew member, where they were hiding along a mountain ridge — there were strikes that took place against the Iranians, to not only ensure that these forces couldn’t reach the crew member, but also ensure that on the ground they couldn’t get forces close to this location.”

Jennifer Griffin also reported that before the weapons systems officer was located, the CIA first ran a deception operation inside Iran, circulating the impression that U.S. forces had already found him and were moving him toward an extraction point.

As Iranian forces were left sorting through conflicting information and trying to figure out what was actually happening, the Agency used its specialized intelligence capabilities to continue the real search.

In many ways, it was the definition of a needle-in-a-haystack operation — one American airman concealed in rugged mountain terrain, hidden from view except through the CIA’s ability to track and pinpoint him.

Once the exact location was confirmed, that information was relayed immediately to the Pentagon and the White House, and CENTCOM moved.

By the end of it, two Americans had been brought home alive from deep inside enemy territory without a single U.S. casualty in the rescue effort.

What he witnessed stuck with him, but not in a good way.

In an interview last night alongside Chris Cuomo, O’Reilly didn’t hold anything back.

O’Reilly painted a grim picture of a third-world dystopia filled with drugs, illegal aliens, violent crime and what he described as a total breakdown of order in parts of the city.

But more than that, he argued that Democrat leaders have known about it — and failed to act. He said they’re actively covering it up.

O’REILLY: “You know who sells a narcotics down there in San Francisco and in Oakland?”

“Honduran drug gangs who are here illegally.”

O’Reilly pointed directly at Democrat sanctuary policies, arguing they’ve created an environment where criminal networks can operate without fear of federal enforcement. If anything they are emboldened.

“You know, protects them? The sanctuary laws of San Francisco and California.”

“They strut around armed to the teeth, okay, knowing that no one on the federal level can bother them, okay?”

“Because the state and the city won’t cooperate as almost every state does with joint task force, California won’t do it.”

According to O’Reilly, the consequences have been severe — particularly when it comes to the fentanyl crisis, which is killing and destroying the lives of countless Americans.

“So Honduran drug gangs in this country illegally are fueling a MASSIVE fentanyl crisis that has destroyed the city of San Francisco.”

Then he named names. Every one of them a Democrat elite who have allowed this violence to continue.

CUOMO: “Well, I think it’s a damning headline and that’s why San Francisco has been getting crushed and Newsom has such a big burden to try to make it as the Democratic nominee.”

O’Reilly then contrasted the city’s current condition with what he says it used to be — one of the most iconic and admired places in the country.

O’REILLY: “It was once the most beautiful city in the country. I used to love to go there.”

But the most disturbing images he brought back centered on what he described as the day-to-day reality now unfolding in certain neighborhoods of the city.

“Now, little children watch drug addicts inject themselves with needles in their neck as they walked to school.”

“Now, Hondurans here illegally cut off people’s hands with machetes if they don’t pay their drug debts.”

“This isn’t about narcotics. This is about massive violence.”

He ended by drawing a stunning juxtaposition between those hellish conditions and the lives of elite Democrat leaders he says are insulated from them — the same people who allowed the carnage to fester.

“Meanwhile, two miles away, Nancy Pelosi is living in an $8 million house guarded by security.”

“So she doesn’t have to experience any of it.”

That’s really the core of his argument.

“Hang on one second.”

She pivoted from statistics to a broader philosophical argument, making the case that border enforcement is simply an extension of everyday security norms.

“We need a strong border especially now with the current global situation, and I believe that you may say you don’t want border control and you’re against ICE, but I don’t believe you in your daily lives.”

That’s when it happened. This was the moment that everyone in the room realized her argument was ironclad.

She returned to the visual that had already made her point. Hasselbeck asked the audience directly:

“How many people in the audience had to go through security to get here? Raise your hand.”

This was a story which the media completely glossed over.

He made it known on CNN last night that the SCOTUS decision did more than resolve a policy dispute — it dismantled one of the most repeated Democratic talking points of the past several years.

“And I’ll tell you one more thing,” Jennings began, signaling he wasn’t done.

He then addressed the long-running claim that the Supreme Court operates as an extension of Trump’s political will.

JENNINGS: “For every Democrat and every media person that has gone on for the last year or two about how this Supreme Court is a wholly owned subsidiary of Donald Trump, that it’s not independent, that it does whatever he says to do…”

Jennings didn’t hesitate to connect the dots.

The ruling, which went against Trump’s immediate position, became — in Jennings’ telling — proof that the Court remains independent, even with a conservative majority.

Rather than lash out at the Court, Jennings noted that the president has legal avenues to pursue moving forward.

This was how a constitutional republic should operate.

“So to me, I thought this was actually…I thought the ruling was sound.”

“I think the president is sound to try other statutes.”

And finally, he argued that both critics of the Court and critics of Trump’s willingness to follow it were proven wrong at the same time.

“And I think the narratives about the court not being independent and the president not obeying the court were TOTALLY blown up today.”

In other words, the decision may have been a setback on tariffs — but according to Jennings, it delivered something far bigger: a direct rebuke of the claim that the judiciary answers to one man.

For a narrative that dominated headlines for years, Jennings says yesterday’s ruling spoke louder than any panel debate ever could.

When asked about her comments, the Border Czar Tom Homan had a pointed response ready for Omar.

Homan framed the debate around the broader consequences of abolishing DHS, which was created in response to the tragedy of 9/11.

“But, bottom line is, you know, think about this. Members of Congress want to abolish the Department of Homeland Security that was established after the tragedy of 9/11. Right?”

The ad described federal immigration officers as “friends and neighbors” who “love this country,” while showing footage of parents, veterans, and people in uniform going about their daily lives.

It also highlighted the tough work these men and women do every day:

“They are removing violent criminals from our streets and neighborhoods.”

“It’s dangerous and difficult work, but ICE has one mission: to make America a safer place to live.”

“And that’s what they’re doing.”

The 60-second spot opens with a young woman looking at a pregnancy test and discovering she’s pregnant.

Gentle piano music begins, and a voice breaks the silence:

“I know you never expected this.”

The scene shifts.

Outside, angry pro-choice protesters shout, signs raised high, voices clashing — the chaos of the debate spilling into her world.

She feels caught in the middle, pulled in every direction, unsure who to listen to or where to turn.

“The anger and the voices are so loud.”

The narration continues, offering something different for women who don’t know what the right move is.

“They’re telling you that you’ve only got two choices. But the truth is, there’s three.”

“Are these options difficult? Of course they are.”

The ad closes with a simple message, quiet but clear:

“But you deserve to know, adoption is an option.”

A brilliantly executed ad, shining a light on an option many women across America probably hadn’t considered before seeing this.

On Real Time with Bill Maher last night, he pointed out that Eilish herself admitted she didn’t really know what to say — and that’s when Maher jumped in with the line that the place ablaze.

MAHER: “They did not hear me at the Grammys because Billie Eilish — big controversy this week — she said there’s no illegals on stolen land.”

“And she said, ‘it’s hard to know what to say,’ which I would say, then don’t say anything, because you don’t know things.”

“You didn’t go to school, I don’t think, and you don’t know facts.”

[Audience laughs]

Maher wasn’t arguing that people shouldn’t speak up. In fact, he said he agreed with part of what she was saying — just not the part where emotion replaces understanding.

“She said keep fighting and protesting and speaking up. I totally agree with that.”

“She said voices matter, people matter.”

“And I would just say, so does knowledge.”

From there, Maher went straight at the logic behind the slogan itself. Not with outrage, but by asking the one question he says the left never wants to answer.

He pointed out that once you push that argument, it doesn’t stay theoretical for very long. It’s total hypocrisy, as noted by the Tongva tribe of California who asked Eilish for the land back on which her mansion is built atop.

“No, of course, immediately the people — the tribe here in California — asked for her house.”

“Which, I thought was pretty great!”

Maher then stepped back and widened the lens. Even if you accept the premise, what comes next? According to him, no one has a real answer.

“But what is the practical next step? This is my problem always with things like this from the left that are always so performative.”

“Okay, even if we agreed with that stolen land — and yes, lots of land is stolen by the way, not just here — what do we do about that?”

Finally, he asked the question that underscored the absurdity of the entire point:

“We give it all back and go back to living in teepees?”

“What is the practical next step?”
