Rep. Dingell came swinging on drug prices, Kennedy dismantled her in seconds. Then he dropped the bomb: one Democrat took more pharma cash than anyone else on the panel.
Outstanding. That was a lot of news to unpack, and you did it with just enough framing and history to show how big these moves are...and how the truth can silence the corrupt, at least for a meeting or so.
Isn't the only reason Ms Dingell holds the seat is that it was bequeathed to her by her late husband, John?? The one known as the Rep for General Motors?
Proud Democrat tradition, handing down seats to their relatives.
I feel like RFKJr will go down as one of the most consequential and successful Cabinet Appointments of all time; what a force to be reckoned with. God speed and God Bless RFKJr.
The healthcare system only makes us more unhealthy… thus should be called the “sick system”. Wake up and opt out and look at all the beautiful alternatives.. I have adopted those new positive alternatives that are reasonablely priced, approaching my 60’s and have never been healthier. I plan to age gracefully, healthfully, and go onto to the next life peacefully… thank you RFK for waking us up.. the answers are out there.. just choose that narrow path of solutions that are not part of the ultra profitable unhealthy solutions!
The only way to do that, in my opinion, is to arrest, try and prosecute the perpetrators of medical malpractice and murder followed by public hangings.
Even after all that, I my regain a tad of confidence and trust in the medical profession.
Oh, please. You have a lawyer--Itty Bitty RFK--practicing medicine without a license, happy to put millions of kids at risk of a disease we managed to eradicate 25 yrs ago (that is now running rampant because of his worm-inspired nuttiness), who just installed the most unqualified vaccine panel in history after promising Congress he wouldn't do that, who had to reach back *37 years* to come up with a donation amount that likely equals what every R on that committee received in the past 5 years?? LOL! Have some more of that Kool-Aid! Pull up those big boy/girl pants and actually read something beyond comic books...oh, and quit hiding like a baby behind anonymity...or perhaps you're just a bot? Do ya think???
Woah, Mary Ann, the kool aid is free, no need to crash out. Bro. Seems like you might have taken a wrong turn somewhere - the MSNBC talking points echo chamber is not what we do here.✌🏼
Get this book. “ The Truth About the Drug Companies: How They Deceive Us And What To Do About It”
by Marcia Angell
It’s kind of a 101 introduction to how the drug companies came to be the multibillion dollar snake oil salesmen that they are.
Dr. Marcia Angell was the first female editor-in -chief for the once PRESTIGIOUS “New England Journal of Medicine .” She held that position for two decades .
When she resigned her statement was as follows :
[...] The problems I’ve discussed are not limited to psychiatry, although they reach their most florid form there. Similar conflicts of interest and biases exist in virtually every field of medicine, particularly those that rely heavily on drugs or devices. It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.
Count your blessings that the swinging door between big pharma and the FDA / CDC is officially locked and anyone with a conflict of interest will be removed.

So glad Mr. Kennedy joined the Trump team. We need him in this position.
7. Rebuild public trust
