Silencing women and dressing them to be absorbed into the background like submissive roles vs. wives and mothers, stereotyping whites, other religions, gender identification while molesting children, enforcing their beliefs, controlling the airspace with chanted prayer and kneeling several times a day, being open to increasing hostility against their neighbors depending on their changing leadership and scriptural/doctrinal interpretation.
Christianity’s followers can be just as invasive and freedom sucking, from the Crusades, Catholic bells ringing the hour and changing politics per leader. Man’s fear, greed and need to belong has fueled atrocities worldwide. Superiority, group think, apathy, survival…all offer lessons for any religion and human.
The news about killing infants up to birth and New York’s older proposal of framing unwanted children’s murders as legal even after birth by letting them starve or dehydrate and not be cared for after “keeping them comfortable” reveals how sick parts of society actually are, rationalizing human life, value and freedom to live based on convenience, as if there are no alternatives. Perhaps these practices are the hallmark of narcissists snd nihilism.
A nihilist is a person who believes that life has no inherent meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value. Ethnocentricm is another blight, where we believe our chosen or inherited way of life justifies the means by which we live, share or enforce it. Protecting one’s beliefs involves boundaries and practice. Space to do that involves not invading others’ space and beliefs. Humans are not homogenized, emulsified objects of any State or Religion. We should be setting examples for our children as Adults, looking after each other and leaving this world better than we found it.
