It was hard not to cry listening to Erika’s speech. Wiped away some tears. I pray she is comforted with her love of Jesus and her memories of her husband.

Charlie Kirk’s life wasn’t just a story, it was a rallying cry.

From founding Turning Point USA at 18 to standing unwavering in the face of threats, he demonstrated that freedom isn’t just an idea.

It’s experienced, defended, and passed down.

Erika’s words strike directly to the core: “freedom is not a theory, it’s a testimony.”

That’s Charlie. Courage. Faith. Truth. Not in speeches, not in honours in action, in example, in the lives he influenced.

The medal is posthumous, but the legacy remains vibrant.

It’s in every student who refuses fear, every person willing to stand for what’s right, and every heart moved by his vision.

Charlie’s gone, but the torch is still burning.

And if we carry it, we keep him alive.
