Canadians will only be given a glorified Canadian edulcorated version « à la » SRC or CBS LIEberals’ propaganda sauce.
I nearly choked when Carney said that he had met Canada’s owners on his campaign, for I really thought that he had previously met King Charles III the first week this banker was selected as the non-elected LIEberals’ representative!
Lets not forget that Carney’s LIEberal government is minority, for the second time in a row, having been elected by a mere 40% of the 50% of the Canadians who have voted. He is not representative of the Canadians who had not bought the fear of « the mean Trump » on which was based LIEberal’s electoral campaign.
That said, many Canadians would greatly welcome a significant reduction of gas prices, taxes less than 65%, lower Internet and phone costs, a 2nd Amendment, no fabricated climate change scams and chemtrails poisoning, freedom of speech, unfiltered Internet content, as well as a more than needed Government’s expenses scrutiny by a DOGE Team.
Frankly, I wish I could emigrate to the USA and be proud of a country again.
In this theatre the worse thing that Carney said was his statement about Canada having “Owners” though true it’s not an appropriate manor to refer to Canada as a piece of land / government & himself being “owned” by others , in this case the British royal family!!
Yep! I face Carney’s comment would ostensibly put Trump in a collision course with “The Oweners@!! Unless it’s way over even carney’s head. Remember with the UK PM visited the White House , Starmer Hand Delivered a royal invitation to Trump for an official visit !!
Not being American or historian, I do not follow American politics everyday. I didn’t know about PM Starmer visit in the US or personal such royal invitation to President Trump.
However, I am very pleased at President Trump doing exactly as promised to American people and much more already.
Post Scriptum: Your « OyezOyez » is in French? Just curious as it means and is pronounced the same in Spanish. :)))
It’s English ( didn’t know about Spanish ) the Wikipedia ( whom I don’t trust fully ) describes Oyez as: call for attention
"Oyez, oyez, oyez" is a traditional interjection, usually repeated three times, meaning "Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye" and used to call for attention and silence, particularly in a legal setting. It originates from Anglo-Norman, where it was used to command silence and attention, especially in medieval courts. The term is still used by the Supreme Court of the United States at the start of each session.
Village callers uses to shout Oyez Oyez to gather folks around in attention to give some local news
I thought the reference to "owners" was disingenuous. Carney knows the truth. Canadians may own their home, but they have no rights to to anything in the soil underneath AND they pay plenty of yearly taxes for it. Canada's "owners" are the British "royals". The relationship among countries may have appeared to have changed over the centuries, but this has been nothing more than an illusion.
I listened to part of the meeting in the car, and when he said “never say never” I laughed, thinking about one of Trump’s rules, “give yourself multiple ways to win”.
We’re watching a master dealmaker at work. The media and most of the public have no frame of reference for how deals get done. It is truly an art.
Thank you for this footage of the meeting!

I had not read your reply before writing mine…
You are so right!
And the Royalty will attend Carneyvorous Rex’s pledge as The Crown’s representative, not to Canadians.

Yes indeed

Who is the Canadian woman that Trump is referring to in the last clip? The one who worked on the trade deal.
