Alleged ISIS Member Was Released Into U.S. By Biden Admin, Lived Illegally In U.S. For 2 Years: Report

A man from Uzbekistan who allegedly is a member of the ISIS terrorist organization was arrested in Baltimore by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The man, identified as 33-year-old Jovokhir Attoev, has been living in the U.S. for the past two years while applying for asylum. He crossed the U.S. border in Arizona in February 2022 and was initially released into the U.S. with a court date after claiming asylum. Uzbekistan issued an international notice in May 2023, indicating Attoev was wanted for his alleged ties to ISIS, but it wasn't until March 2024 that U.S. authorities connected the notice with the man living in Maryland. ICE arrested him two weeks ago, and he now awaits trial in immigration court
