After killing three on a Florida highway, an illegal alien fled west—but Lt. Gov. Collins had him shackled and extradited back to the Sunshine State to face justice.
Haven't we been told that illegal aliens are only taking jobs that American citizen don't want to do? I know many American citizens would love to have a job driving a truck.
I am truly sorry for the innocent people who lost their lives because of this. But they will not have died in vain. This incident will mobilize the complacent people who have been up to this point riding the fence on immigration. I predict a backlash that will add support to the administration’s efforts to rid our country of illegal immigrants. People I talk to are shocked and angry that the sanctuary states are causing death and destruction with their policies. How can you intentionally put people’s lives at risk? Someone needs to be held accountable, from the governors of those states to the person who printed out and handed that criminal the license.
This is great news. I'm wondering how he was able to flee Florida and get back to California after the accident in the first place. Why wasn't he detained in Florida to begin with? I don't watch the news so missed out on that part.
As I said in another post about this, everyone from the DMV clerks on up the chain of command to the Democrat legislators who voted for the legislation and the governors that signed the legislation need to be prosecuted as accessories to the crimes that he can be charged with: vehicular manslaughter, first degree murder, depraved indifference, etc. and that would especially include Gavin jNewsom and the governor of Washington that made this tragedy possible. It was entirely foreseeable and predictable. The governors should be held without bail as they are definitely both flight risks.
Good to see he was extradited from the communist country on our left coast called California. My question is how did he get there after killing those poor people? Did he get bail? If so why was it not denied?
This crap has been happening for several years now. Ask any flagger on a road construction site and they’re going to tell you it’s getting worse. I and probably thousands of others have been hit by illegals while driving. I hope the families sue the shit out of California and Washington.
I don't understand this crash. Did he suddenly swerve across all the lanes? How did the van driver not notice a giant semi trailer in the road? How was the truck driver able to flee to California? If I were involved in an incident like this my driving credentials would certainly be scrutinized. Why not in this case?
Yes, he made an illegal U turn from the right lane at an officials only U turn crossing, meant for police sedans only and turning from the left lane &/or left shoulder only.
The van driver was driving in the left lane, and never contemplated anyone making such a hairbrained maneuver. By the time he noticed the truck making the turn, it was too late. Get out your driver’s manual that you use to prepare to take your driver license test. They all have diagrams showing how long it takes to stop at highway speeds and it is hundreds of feet, if not yards. We daily depend upon other drivers knowing the rules of the road and the physics of objects in motion, & the mechanics of driving.
OMG!!!! Law and order!!! FINALLY!!! Who thought they would ever see this in their lifetime??? AWESOME!!!

I hope your right

Good question - no mention of this anywhere in the MSM...Hmmmh.
How the hell was this guy not in police custody after the incident???

I was fortunate. I lost a side mirror when an illegal alian/uninsured/unlicensed motorist drove around me, past me at a stop light.
Of course "nothing could be done". The car was borrowed from a relative. (Another, unlicensed, uninsured, illegal alien)
What state was this in?
Nevada, Vegas, of course

The fact that this was allowed to happen is infuriating!
Good
