As a Canadian, I can't help but appreciate Trump for his straightforwardness. He really says it like it is and often shares insights that we might not hear from the mainstream media. I know some people find him a bit arrogant or brash at times, but there's no denying his love for the United States and its citizens; he genuinely wants to make a difference.

Since January 20, 2025, President Trump has taken some bold steps on immigration, reducing regulations, streamlining bureaucracy, and improving energy policies. He’s also introduced initiatives aimed at crypto, family savings, historical declassification, and wildfire prevention, among others. It's clear he values peace and wants to tackle issues like the Israel-Iran situation. If the Democrats could find a way to collaborate and stay out of his path, just think of what amazing things he could achieve!

I’ve been negotiating business deals for 30 years. Based on my experience, I would say he’s anything but brilliant. He’s a rank amateur with a crude style. Worse yet he leaves money on the table every time because he can’t see beyond his own interests.

Case in point the Iran Deal negotiated by Obama was working but trump’s racism drove him to deep six it. And look where we are today with Iran having more nuclear capabilities that the Obama deal would have prevented.

Let’s look at Russia. Why does a terrorist state with the puny GDP of Texas belong at the G7 meeting. They aren’t supporting global stability. They are undermining it. That kind of activity is always bad for business and society at large.

I suggest you read THE ART OF WAR. Sadly, you probably already have.

I've also negotiated business deals, for 30+ years. I measure geopolitical skill by wars started, averted, and ended. On that metric, Trump is better than any other president the USA has had for at least 60 years.

And racist? Though the constant, frequent misuse of the word is rendering it moot, who dismantled Trump's inner city youth programs? Yep, the same racist who gave the eulogy for a KKK leader, Joe Biden. And who admonished black men for voting anything but Democrat. Election interferer and race baiter Barack Obama.

By the way, what's the GDP of Canada? Because I know it's a shit ton less than that of Texas.

Since you read the Art of War then you know that you should know your opponent at an extremely intimate level.

trump can’t distinguish the UK from the EU as evidenced by his time in Alberta.

To give us some perspective, with all the deals you have negotiated what is your net worth? Trump leveraged a $10 million legacy from his dad into a real estate empire which is widely know for the excellence of its projects in one of the most difficult markets in the world. Along the way, he also was a successful entertainment executive. After all that he could have rode off into the sunset but instead be got involved in politics. Many said he would never succeed. But he has now been elected President twice, has fundamentally changed the GOP and decimated the Democrat party which may never recover. His net worth today is several billion dollars. I'd be interested to know what you started with and what you have now so we can contrast with Trump..

Trump ripped people off. That’s his modus operandi. He would hire contractors or buy products and then stiff the vendor. THAT IS trump 100% of the time. Just ask Giuliani (his personal attorney) and the vendors at his casinos. And speaking of the casinos, he got busted many times for money laundering.

And according to trump, you have your facts wrong because he insists that he borrowed $1 million from his father & paid it back. We know this is false thanks to that tax filing the NYT obtained.

More likely trump may have had the largest business LOSS in the history of the IRS. He likely has dyscalculia which makes him a maths moron and it explains, in part, his multiple bankruptcies.

Texas’s puny GDP is $2.7 trillion. This is larger than Italy’s $2.38 trillion, and Canada’s $2.21 trillion. Russia’s paltry $2.08 trillion may be smaller, but they have ranked as the #1 oil producer. Currently they are 3rd behind #1 USA and #2 Saudi Arabia.

If Russia decided to cut off oil and natural gas to Europe, millions of Europeans would die, and there’s nothing you or anyone else could do about it.

Most of these comments have got to be bots, they’re so far removed from reality and absolutely no one in their right mind believes this rank horseshit. Trump bankrupted 6 businesses. He has literally hundreds of lawsuits from contractors who he refused to pay. He is interested only in himself and too lazy to even get daily briefings which are basic to being president. He will go down in history as what he is, and there’s plenty of adjectives out there so I don’t need to repeat them all, and none are positive.

… NAFO Director Jurgen Nauditt: “To clarify Trump's lies: Russia was expelled from the G8 in 2014 for annexing Crimea and supporting military action in eastern Ukraine. The G7 states (the US, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, UK and Italy) viewed this as a violation of intl law and the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Following the annexation of Crimea in March 2014, the G7 members suspended Russia's participation, and the meeting in Sochi was canceled. Instead, the G7 met in Brussels without Russia.”

Trudeau was also not in power at the time.

Expand full comment
Bill Lacey's avatar

Completely wrong. Russia was suspended in 2014, not expelled. Subsequently, a number of member countries included Germany, France and Italy, wanted the suspension lifted. Canada and the US opposed re-instatement and in January 2017, Russia announced it was quitting the G8.

And by the way, NAFO is a pro-Ukrainian organization who's stated objective is to spread anti-Russian, pro-Ukrainian propaganda. They run a massive troll farm in order to conduct an information war offensive in support of Ukraine in the war.

My point - citing a known anti-Russian propagandist such as Nauditt as an authority on Russia's status in the G8 is laughable.

Expand full comment
blueseriph's avatar

Wrong - NAFO was created in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a way to combat Kremlin-backed disinformation and propaganda circulating online. I'm pro-Ukranian and anti-Russian too. Taking the side of the aggressor who invaded a sovereign state isn't a good look
