Secret Service officer protecting Kamala Harris came to blows with other agents at Joint Base Andrews

A Secret Service agent assigned to protect Vice President Kamala Harris was involved in an altercation with several other agents on Monday morning near Joint Base Andrews, outside Washington, D.C. The agent, whose identity has not been disclosed, exhibited distressing behavior to colleagues and was removed from duty. Although the agent was present to support Harris's departure, the skirmish did not delay her travel plans. Medical personnel attended the scene, and the agent was reported to have grown aggressive and erratic, leading to a physical confrontation. The agent, who was armed, eventually got on top of a special agent in charge of the vice president and began punching him. The agent was handcuffed and received medical attention after the incident.
